KAZA TFCA Secretariat engages Zimbabwe over alleged live elephants exports

The Kavango Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZATFCA) Secretariat is aware of media reports alleging that the Republic of Zimbabwe was planning toexport live elephants. Secretariat consulted with the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife ManagementAuthority (ZimParks) to verify the claims and to confirm the official position on the matter.

The allegations have been dispelled and the Republic of Zimbabwe is ready to welcome concernedstakeholders to visit the elephant range areas to verify the claims.
